On the 16th of July, 2016, it was revealed on 16 July 2016 that Sabo has signed a season-long loan contract with the team Beitar Jerusalem while the option to make the deal permanent was set at EUR400,000. In the end Sabo decided to change his mind and join 2.Bundesliga team VfL Bochum, but he needed to get around the legal requirements because of his move with Beitar Jerusalem. According to reports, Sabo will continue his career at Beitar Jerusalem, as the Israeli club on the 1st of July 2017 added a buy-out clause to the loan agreement of the player. As of May 1, the 1st of May, according to different sources, the management for Beitar Jerusalem are in advanced discussions with PAOK regarding changing the loan deal to the Slovak defensive midfielder permanent. It is reported that the Israeli club was keen to make a payment of EUR200.000 to secure the purchase of the 26-year-old international towards the close of the 2017-18 season.
In August of 2015, Spartak Trnava announced his transfer to PAOK. He signed a four-year contract. On the 3rd of December, 2015, Sabo was named the MVP of a 6-2 home win by PAOK over Chania Igor Tudor’s team progressed into the next round of the Greek Cup. Sabo was a three-goal scorer, and Jairo, Giannis Mystakidis and Dimitris Pelkas scored the team’s third goal. Sabo finished the season with PAOK playing 24 times across all competitions, scoring three goals.

Sabo began his career with Spartak Trnava against Slovan Bratislava on February 25, 2011. He was on temporary loan with Spartak Myjava, playing in the second division.
