On the 24th of July, 2014 Lanini got loaned on an extended loan contract for the duration of the season to Serie B club Virtus Entella. On October 28, the Italian began his Serie B debut for Virtus Entella as a substitute for Gianluca Litteri at the 72nd moment. Later, within the final minute of the match, he made his debut goal with Virtus Entella in an away loss of 5-1 against Catania. On 24 November he scored his second goal, again as a substitute, in the 71st minute of a 3–1 away defeat against Pordenone. On 2 December he played his first entire match for Vicenza, a 2–0 home defeat against Ravenna. On 22 December he scored his third goal in the 68th minute of a 1–1 away draw against Gubbio. In January 2018 he was re-called to Juventus leaving Vicenza with 16 appearances and 3 goals.

On January 28, Lanini was signed by Serie B side Como on an agreement for loan of 6 months.
