Ellis Lankster (born June 3 1987) is an American football cornerback with the West Virginia Roughriders of the American Arena League (AAL). He was selected to the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played his college football during his time at West Virginia. He was also part of both the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and New York Jets.

Lankster got signed by Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League on the 11th of October the 11th of October, 2010. He didn’t play for Hamilton in his time with the club, but rather was introduced to the nuances of Canadian football.

Lankster signed a future contract with the New York Jets on January 5, 2011. He was waived on September 2. He was re-signed to the active roster on October

Lankster played in his sophomore and freshman seasons in Jones County Junior College. He concluded his collegiate experience with West Virginia University. He was also a part of the 2009 Senior Bowl.
