She was a part of the Oysterband Big Session, a collaboration between a variety of folk artists who were brought in by Oysterband. They recorded an album called The Big Session Volume One and the entire group received the award for Best Group during the Folk Awards in 2005. On the 29th of May, the 29th of May, Carthy performed in an ode in honour of Peggy Seeger at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London. A double CD , Three Score Ten (2007) and Three Score Ten (2007) includes highlights from the performance.
