Donald Edward Gullett (born January 6th 1951) is an American former professional baseball player and coach. He was in Major League Baseball as a left-handed pitcher between 1970 and 1978, notably as a part of the Cincinnati Reds dynasty that won four National League pennants and two World Series championships between 1970 and 1976. Gullett was also a part of the New York Yankees teams that took home twice consecutive World Series championships in 1977 and 1978. Following his playing career, Gullett worked as a pitcher’s coach with his team, the Cincinnati Reds from 1993 to 2005. In 2002 the year he was admitted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame.

Gullett was a player for the Reds throughout their 1976 championship season. In November of the year as a free agent and a free agent, he was signed by the New York Yankees. He had a 14-4 record for the Yankees in 1977, however shoulder injuries in 1978 brought that the beginning of the last chapter in his playing career.

In 1989, Gullett played for the St. Lucie Legends of the Senior Professional Baseball Association.

In 1993, he rejoined the Reds as pitching coach, a post he held until being ousted mid-season in 2005.
