Arismendi was dropped from Stoke’s 25-man squad for 2012-13 season. His future is assured of a move far from his home at the Britannia Stadium. The contract he signed with Stoke was ended at the end of November, 2012, bringing an end to a disappointing three-year spell at the club, during which he only managed to make six games, none of which were in the Premier League match. He then returned to Uruguay and signed a new contract with Nacional.
