Vincent Deon Butler, born January 4, 1986, is an ex- American football wide receiver. The Seattle Seahawks drafted him in the third round 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football for Penn State.

On September 12, 2010, he scored his first receiving touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers. He caught it for only 13 yards. His second touchdown was against the Chicago Bears. Deion Branch was traded the New England Patriots to Butler. Butler was then named a starter but was replaced by Ben Obomanu, his teammate. After sustaining a broken leg in week 14, he was placed on injured reserve.

Redshirting as a Penn State freshman without an athletic scholarship, Butler rose to top of the depth charts alongside Derrick Williams to be a solid threat to quarterbacks Anthony Morelli and Michael Robinson. In his first season, Butler broke four school records: receiving yards (37), season receptions (125 versus Wisconsin), receiving yards (661) and touchdown catches (9). Butler holds the single-game record for receiving yards with 216 yards from 11 receptions against Northwestern in September 2006. He had 47 receptions, 633 yards, and four touchdowns in 2007. In Penn State’s 38-7 win over Wisconsin, he had 7 catches for 93 yard and a touchdown. Butler caught 47 passes in 2008 for 810 yards and seven touchdowns. He was able to catch eight passes for 105 yards in the Michigan match.

Butler played in all four preseason games with the Seahawks, but was waived on August 31, 2012, as part of the final roster cuts from 75 to 53 players. On December 15, 2012, the Seahawks signed Butler after clearing a physical.
