David Vieira (born February 28 1982) is an instructor at the 4th Degree black Belt of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and an BJJ instructor, competitor and the world’s top mixed martial art (MMA) combatant.

In the year 2010 at the close of the decade, David was asked to take part in a reality program in Brazil that was aired nationally on the Multishow channel in May of 2011. The show’s name is Minha Praia (Portuguese for My Beach) and is an original reality-TV adventure and reward game show where teams of two both female and male are competing against other teams. The contestants are confined to a private beaches in Brazil to be a part of a competition for prizes. The show employs a system of progressive elimination that allows participants to choose the team members who are competing with them. After the show, David and co-teammate Mirella Vieira came in as runners up, having lost at the end of the elimination round an event for kayaks.

Vieira was professionally MMA fighter in 2007 in the same year that he was profiled in MMA Authority Magazine as the young and promising fighter. He was also called by the magazine”the “Brazilian Prodigy.” After four success MMA bouts, in America, United States David went back to Brazil to work on the quality of his MMA game and become a better fighter. While Vieira continued to pursue his MMA practice, he made the decision to take a break of professional MMA fighting in order to focus on the running of his jiu-Jitsu school in Brazil.
