David Fuster is one of the most popular and richest Spanish footballer who was born on February 3, 1982 in Oliva, Spain. David Fuster Torrijos (born 3 February 1982) is a Spanish retired footballer who was an attacker midfielder.

On the 28th of September, 2011 Fuster made his debut goal for his first Champions League, in a 2-1 loss away against Arsenal. Fuster scored his second goal during the second match between the two teams (3-1 home victory) and the Piraeus team placed at the third place in their group before being sent into the UEFA Europa League; in the final competition, the second half strike earned their team a 1-1 victory away against FC Rubin Kazan in the round of 32 (eventually winning 2-0 in an aggregate). In the following round, the same way, he struck in the match against FC Metalist Kharkiv, who nevertheless beat FC Metalist Kharkiv 2-1 in the second leg in Athens to make it through in the competition, and the player played for 90 minutes, and ending with the top scoring club in the tournament, scoring four goals.

On 7 April 2013, Fuster scored his third and last goal in the season, contributing to a 4–0 success at Platanias F.C. as Olympiacos won its third national championship in a row. On 15 March of the following year he netted another, with his team downing Panthrakikos F.C. 2–0 at home and renewing its domestic supremacy.

After starting out at Villarreal B – he also represented the first team in the 2009–10 season – he went on to spend most of his professional career at Olympiacos, appearing in more than 150 competitive matches and win nine major titles, including six consecutive national championships.

In the late summer of 2010 the the 28-year-old Fuster signed with Olympiacos F.C. in Greece for EUR 1,500,000. He reunited with the former Villarreal friends Ariel Ibagaza and Ernesto Valverde (manager). In his debut season, he was crowned league champion and made it to the quarter-finals of the Greek domestic cup, putting him in third place on the chart of goal scorers and leading the team in terms of minutes played.

Fuster was born in Oliva, Valencia. He was already 22, and taken over from his home soccer club Villarreal CF, but spent four years with the club’s reserves and helped the team move to the third division in 2007.

During the 2012–13 campaign, as Leonardo Jardim was at the helm of the team, he suffered a dip in form, also being injured for two months; when he returned, however, Jardim’s replacement Míchel showed confidence in his compatriot.
