Daniel Edward Amrich (born 5 February 1971) is an American writer actor, author as well as a musician and expert in social media. The graduate of Ithaca College with a major in audio Production and a minor in Writing and then became a journalist and critic who worked professionally of numerous music and video games journals and sites. He has been a journalist for renowned publications, both in print and online, such as Flux Magazine, Wired, Time Out New York, and many more. He is employed by Ubisoft as Content Designer. At the end of 1997, Amrich started working for GamePro with the editing name of Dan Elektro and Bad Hare. Amrich eventually became the editor of the features section and wrote the responses to the column for reader letters, as well as the main editor-in-chief at GamePro.com’s Forums for Users. He also designed GamePro Enigma, the GamePro Enigma metapuzzle for the March 2003 issue, as well as it was the GamePro Enigma II for the March 2004 issue. In the final issue of his time with The magazine in 2004, he co-authored his book PlayStation 2 For Dummies.
