Dagfinn Enerly (born 9 December 1972 in Oslo, Norway) is an Norwegian former soccer player. He was a player in the Norwegian Premier League clubs Skeid, Moss, Rosenborg and Fredrikstad. He was injured in 2005 when he injured his neck in a match that resulted in him being paralyzed from his chest down. He has since recovered some mobility in his arms and legs and has many times declared his intention to be able to walk again.

On October 29, 2005, during the final round of the campaign, Fredrikstad met league-leaders Start with a game in Kristiansand trying to avoid being relegated. Fredrikstad defeated Start 3-1, meaning that Fredrikstad did not quit. But, five minutes into the match, Enerly collided with a colleague, and was thrown to the ground, while his fellow player fell over him. Enerly was incapable of getting up, or move a muscle medical personnel came to help and to carry him off on a stretcher wearing an arm brace. In the evening, it was reported that Enerly was taken into Oslo’s Ulleval Hospital for surgery, was injured in his neck and was quadriplegic.

In January 2006 it was reported that Enerly had regained some movement in his arms, but that his legs are still paralysed, and in December 2006 it was reported that he has regained movement and strength in his left arm, and some in his right arm (able to lift up to 4 kg). As of December 2011, Enerly is still confined to an electric wheelchair, but he confirmed to Norwegian newspapers that he had stood upright on his own feet for the first time since the accident during a training session in a therapeutic pool. He stood on his own feet in the pool, supporting his own weight, for fifteen seconds.

On 8 September. Dagfinn Enerly and Tor Trondsen held a testimonial match for Knut Thorbjørn Eggen. Team Eggen vs Team RBK. Team Eggen was formed by Enerly, and the players were earlier football players from FFK and other players Eggen has trained. Team RBK was “old” boys from the early RBK. At team Eggen – Enerly was captain. He played in the way he could. That was a comeback. He scored a goal. He played it in his wheelchair to big applause from the audience.

Enerly was born in Ammerud on Oslo’s eastern side and began his professional career with the local club Grorud and then Grei. Then he joined the Oslo-based club Skeid and made his first start as a player in the Norwegian Premier League in 1996. Enerly was usually a player in the right wing position. The main attributes he had as a player included speed, excellent technique and a great long-range shot. When Skeid were dropped in 1997, he was sent to Moss and was a player for three years before being signed by the champions Rosenborg. Enerly played for three and a quarter seasons in Rosenborg and won Rosenborg the League at least three times. After receiving a limited amount of time to play in his final season in Rosenborg Enerly joined Fredrikstad at the halfway point of the 2004 season. his experiences led to him becoming a key player, and he was made captain of the team.

As Fredrikstad F.K. were celebrating their Norwegian Cup victory in 2006 at Ullevaal Stadion, Enerly was brought onto the pitch to celebrate with the players, as a gesture for his involvement in the club even after his injury. In August 2007, it was announced that FFK will retire his jersey No. 8.
