Cristian Brocchi is one of the most popular and richest Italian football manager who was born on January 30, 1976 in Milan, Lombardy, Italy. Cristian Brocchi (Italian pronunciation: [‘kristjam’brokkiborn on 30th January, 1976) is a Italian football manager and former player who was midfielder. He is currently director at Serie C side Monza, being previously assistant manager of Chinese club Jiangsu Suning, while his prior job was as the head coach at Brescia and the club he played for in his youth Milan.

Then, in July of 2001 Milan renewed his contract in exchange Andres Guglielminpietro. He then was signed by Inter. At Milan, Brocchi had to contend with players like Fernando Redondo, Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo, Massimo Ambrosini and, later, Clarence Seedorf.

Brocchi made his international debut and only appearance for the Italy national team under Roberto Donadoni, in a 1–1 friendly home draw against Turkey, on 15 November 2006.

Brocchi made a career high 29 Serie A appearances in the 2006–07 season. Although Emerson arrived in the 2007–08, Brocchi continued to appear regularly making 24 appearances, 10 as starter, effectively becoming manager Carlo Ancelotti’s first choice replacement in midfield.

After a successful year in the top division, Internazionale manager Marcello Lippi was hired by Brocchi in 2000, following his outstanding performance. Then, Brocchi and Inter endured an extremely difficult season. Lippi was dismissed following their first Serie A match, a loss to Reggina. Marco Tardelli was hired as Lippi’s replacement and led the Nerazzurri to an eighth- place finish at the top of Serie A. In the following season, new Inter Manager Hector Cuper decided to sell Brocchi. Brocchi later said that his experience with Inter “as the worst experience [he] ever had” due to the absence in support provided by the team when recovering from an injury.

Beginning his career with his home club A.C. Milan youth system, Brocchi was loaned to Pro Sesto and Lumezzane in the early days. After struggling to get a place in the first team in 1998, Brocchi’s contract was terminated. to Hellas Verona in Serie B. Brocchi was loaned to Fiorentina in July 2005, with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the season. However, at the end of 2005–06, he returned to Milan, partly as a result of the problems Milan faced in finding new recruits due to the 2006 Italian football scandal.
