Craig Coxe is one of the most popular and richest American ice hockey player who was born on January 21, 1964 in Chula Vista, California, United States. Craig Raymond Coxe (born January 21st 1964) is an American retired professional hockey player. In addition , he plays within the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues and the San Jose Sharks. Coxe also played in two years of professional roller hockey with the RHI after growing up playing within Tucson Arizona from 1969 to 1975, and also from 1969 to 1975 in Laguna Beach, California. He is a resident of an area in the suburbs surrounding Saint Ignace, Michigan.

In 1999-00 which was his last year as a player Coxe was playing for the San Antonio Iguanas in the CHL. At the end of the season, Coxe was named the assistant coach of the team. The following season, Coxe was appointed head coach for the CHL’s Huntsville Tornado. Coxe was also chief coach for the CHL’s El Paso Buzzards for their final season in 2002-03. In the course of this season the owner of the team, Bill Davidson, had declared bankruptcy. Despite not receiving a salary for more than a month and despite the fact that at times the team was outfitted with only nine or ten athletes, Coxe continued to coach the team until the season’s conclusion. Coxe is the current head coach of the hockey team for Cheboygan Area High School located in Cheboygan, Michigan. He also serves as the manager of the rink of Cheboygan’s Ralph G. Cantile Arena in Cheboygan.

Although perhaps most well-known for his time with the Vancouver Canucks, Coxe was exiled as a player from to the Canucks from the San Jose Sharks in the 1991 NHL Expansion and Dispersal Drafts. On the night of Oct. 4, 1991 Coxe scored his first goal in Sharks franchise’s history. It was the second-to-last goal he scored during his time in the NHL.
