Clinton Grybas is one of the most popular and richest Australian sports commentator who was born on February 9, 1975 in Australia. Clinton Andrew Grybas (9 February 1975 5 January 2008) was an eminent Australian rules football player and TV and sports radio commentator.
The funeral ceremony held on the 15th of January, 2008 held at CityLife Church in Wantirna South was open to the public. It was also streamed on Foxtel. There were more than 1000 guests who attended which included his girlfriend Laurenna Toulmin, his parents Sandra as well as Vic Grybas, brother Ashley and a variety of sports and media celebrities.
On March 25, 2008, It was revealed by the news channel 3AW’s Derryn Hinch that Grybas died from natural causes following from an allergic reaction due to something consumed or drank prior to the evening. His familymembers, however, insist that the cause of death was not determined and there was no evidence that there was an allergic reaction from the coroner.

His career in media began with his position with the South East Melbourne Magic basketball team as a journalist for the club and gameday host. Later, he took on a major role at ABC. He was a key player with ABC at Melbourne and later in Perth in which he hosted and hosted the ABC’s broadcast of Australian Football League matches. He also anchored or commented on National Basketball League (NBL) and National Soccer League (NSL) games, as also Hopman Cup, golf, races and lawn bowls. The most memorable time he was on the air was when he announced the water-polo women’s gold medal game during the 2000 Sydney Olympics that ended up being won by Australia during the final moments. He made the switch on to radio commercial in the year 2001 in which he teamed up with Rex Hunt at 3AW to create the self-proclaimed “number one calling team” in the sport. He continued to report on sports, including those of the Australian Open, boxing and both the Formula One and MotoGP Grand Race events. He also anchored the two Olympic Games and three Commonwealth Games and was a Torchbearer for Melbourne 2006’s Commonwealth Games Torch Relay. Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Torch Relay. The Fox Footy Channel began in 2002, Grybas became the new anchor of the channel’s top host and commentator. He was the main commentator for games every week and hosted the evening talkback show White Line Fever and the weekly wrap-up show The Winners. He continued working on behalf of Fox Sports after the dedicated football channel was shut down at the end of 2006.
Grybas was found dead at his home on the morning of 5 January 2008, aged 32, after he failed to turn up at 3AW to present the midday sports radio show. Apartment staff found him lying face down on his bedroom floor and rushed to hospital, where he was formally pronounced dead. A preliminary news report theorised that Grybas died as a result of head injuries due to a sleepwalking- induced accident. An autopsy was completed but the results were not publicly released.
