Christian Elza Niccum (born January 27 in 1978) is a retired American athlete who has been playing for the last two years on the World Cup tour. He was an alternate in 1998 and coached by Canada in 2002, and finished 23rd in the singles men’s event in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. The following year, in Vancouver the same year, he placed sixth in the doubles men’s event. In the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia he placed 6th member of the US team for the relay team and placed at 11th overall in doubles competition with Jayson Terdiman.
Niccum quit the sport following his participation in the 2013 Winter Olympics.
Niccum’s top result in his best finish at the FIL World Championships in Lug was a ninth-place finish in the singles men’s event in Park City, Utah in 2005. In doubles, his highest finish was 6th at the 2008 World Luge Championships in Oberhof, Germany.
