Invertigo has signed a well-publicized global recording contract with the Atlantic record label United States in 1999, but following a disappointing reception to American broadcasters with “Desensitized” and only moderate success with “Chances Are”, were removed by the label at the end of 2001.
After a chance encounter with a radio program director at a function in Hobart in early 2007, Argenti was offered the host position of the drive show on Heart 107.3 in Hobart, Tasmania. The following day, Argenti debuted on radio and remained in that position until January 2009, when he moved to Melbourne to join Crocmedia as host of All Night Appetite on sports talk radio station 1116 SEN. Argenti remains a regular commentator and analyst on the station, generally covering football (soccer) and mixed martial arts.
