Christopher Robert Winnes (born February 12th January 1968) is a former professional right winger of the ice hockey team who played in the course of four years in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers. Chris has been a firefighters in the Warwick Fire Department in Rhode Island.

After appearing in just five NHL games from 1992 to 1993 and playing the majority of the season playing for the Providence Bruins, Winnes signed as a free-agent with the Philadelphia Flyers in 1993. The subsequent season saw Winnes participate in four games for the Flyers and played the majority of the season. He also spent the subsequent season in the minors, as a player of the Hershey Bears.

Following his final season playing for the Wildcats in 1990-91, Winnes joined the Maine Mariners of the American Hockey League before making his NHL debut with the Bruins in the playoffs of 1991. He played most of the 1991-92 season playing for the Mariners but went to play in 24 games for the Bruins in the following season. He also participated in the World Championships as a member of the 1992 U.S. National team.
