He was part of the Steelers team which took home Super Bowl XL where he also recorded one tackle. The following year the team played all 16 games and concluded playing with 12 red cards. On June 21 the 21st of June, 2007, the player signed a three-year extension to 2010. He ended the 2007 season by registering six tackles as well as 0.5 Sacks. Hoke began his first game of the 2008 season the Pittsburgh’s Sunday Night Football game against the Ravens in Week Four of the 2008 season.
