Cheryl Spector is one of the most popular and richest Activist who was born on February 3, 1958 in Lakewood, New Jersey, United States. Cheryl Ann Spector (February 3 1958 – September 4 2007,) was famous bisexual, gay, bisexual and transgender activist, who resided within Arlington, Virginia.

Spector became an activist after her brother Stanley’s diagnosis with the HIV virus that causes AIDS and subsequent suicide, in October 1985. She began by volunteering at the 1987 and 1993 Marches on Washington, and served as Grand Marshal of the D.C. Gay Pride Parade in 1998.
She was a student at American University and worked in broadcasting television, doing public affairs for non-profit organizations prior to becoming the executive secretary for the Central Intelligence Agency in 2000.

Spector was famous for her photos of D.C. gay events and individuals, including the first AIDS candlelight ceremony in 1983. Unfortunately, a lot of her photographs and videos were destroyed during a house fire just after her demise. She planned to donate the contents for the Rainbow History Project, which requested a grant in order to restore and clean the rest of her possessions.
She died on September 4, 2007 from myeloid leukemia.
