Exports of veal calves out of Coventry Airport ended months later when the company that was operating the flights that was owned by the pilot responsible for flight of veal, Christopher Bartley-Jolly became bankrupt after being accused of operating weapons across Slovakia across Sudan in violation of EU regulations. In 2002, he was convicted with smuggling 271 kilograms of cocaine out of Jamaica to Southend airport..He was later sentenced to a sentence of twenty year in jail.

In January 1995, she walked nearly 100 miles to Coventry towards Westminster to protest. On her 31st birthday , she protested in front of the house of the businessman who organized the trade.
