Charles Fred Alexander Jr. (born July 28th 1957) is an ex- professional American footballer who was a running back in National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the college team of Louisiana State University (LSU) and twice earned the consensus All-America honours. He was later admitted into the College Football Hall of Fame. He was selected in the first round during the 1979 NFL draft by the Bengals.
Alexander’s workload slowed down during his final season of 1978 when the Tigers offense got more balanced thanks to the potential LSU Athletic Hall of Inductee David Woodley at quarterback.
