Brianna was selected to be selected by SPREP for their inaugural Youth Ambassador to recognize her accomplishments in conserving her beloved Pacific environment. Brianna is the first recipient in the SPREP Youth Ambassador program which will continue to develop and enhance the voices of young people throughout the Pacific on the major environmental issues and the climate. For her first official engagement, she was a participant in her first Regional Resilience to Climate Change and its Impacts Workshop between 23 and 27 April New Caledonia.

She was one of the founders of 350. Samoa and was the leader of the Environmental Group “Future Rush” when she was 11 years old. Future Rush and 350 Samoa is involved in a variety of projects to fight Climate Change and promote sustainable development by implementing awareness programs that inform communities and schools in Samoa and throughout the region. In 2011, she organized another environmental awareness event for Moving Planet Samoa. The walk attracted over 100 people to spread awareness about the effects of climate change on Samoa as well as around the globe.
