He was the general manager of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL), and currently serves as an executive in charge of senior personnel with the league’s Los Angeles Rams.

An ex-linebacker who played with Bobby Bowden at Florida State University from 1989 to 1992, Xanders was a member of four bowl winning teams with the Seminoles which had a combined record of 42-7. He was an All Atlantic Coast Conference team academic member as well as graduated from FSU with an MBA in business administration as well as an undergraduate degree in business administration.
Prior to joining the Broncos the team, Xanders worked for over 14 years (1994-2008) as a member of Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta Falcons in various scouting players’ personnel football operations, coaching team (defense/offense/ST) and systems/technology roles. Xanders was on the Falcons defensive coaching staff for the 1998 team which was the first team ever team in the history of the franchise to win an Super Bowl berth (XXXIII). He was chosen to be selected by the Falcons to participate in the Stanford University’s NFL Program for Managers in 2005.
