The following year, the player was transferred from Athlone Town before linking once more with his former Finn Harps manager Patsy McGowan at Sligo Rovers. He scored scores of 44 goals in the league for Sligo Rovers, and also won the FAI Cup runners-up medal from the 1981 final in conjunction with Dundalk. He was back at Harps for the 1982-83 season, and stayed for another four seasons before joining Derry City in the January 1986 season and helping the club win the League of Ireland First Division Shield.
Then, with Graham Taylor rebuilding the Sincil Bank club in the Sincil Bank area, Bradley returned to Finn Harps for PS4,000 on the 22nd of March 1973. He ended the 1973-1974 season by scoring the last two goals when Harps took home the FAI Cup with a 3-1 victory over St Patrick’s Athletic at Dalymount Park. The win saw Harps get into the next year’s European Cup Winners Cup where they played Bursaspor. Bradley scored goals in the away match that was a 4-2 defeat on 18 September 1974. He also scored in the home match was 0-0 on the 2nd of October 1974 saw Harps’ club drop out of the tournament. Bradley’s record of 21 league points saw him lead the league scorers’ chart for the third time. The 1975-76 season saw him lead in the charts of scoring for the fourth time, with 29 league goals. That included all six goals in the 6-1 win against Sligo Rovers in Finn Park. The results of his exploits earned him the Soccer Writers Association of Ireland’s People of the Year in 1976. The season’s end saw him join the North American Soccer League where only one game was played with Toronto Metros-Croatia.

Despite only making a few appearances in Derry, Bradley had impressed Finn Harps manager Patsy McGowan and a sum of PS100 allowed Bradley to be a part of during the Harps’ League of Ireland debut season of 1969-1970. Bradley scored his club’s first hat-trick of senior football during the away match against Athlone Town and his tally of 18 league goals was among the top of the competition. The next season saw Bradley lead the list of the top players, but this time scoring 20 league goals. The 1971-72 season saw him helped Finn Harps secure their first important trophy with an 1-0 win against Cork Hibernians in the Dublin City Cup.
On July 22, 1972 Bradley was transferred to the Football League with Lincoln City manager David Herd paying PS6,000 for Bradley’s services. Bradley made his debut with the club in the 1-1 draw away to Darlington on the 19th of August, 1972. The first goal he scored at the club were scored in the third league match when Bradley scored two goals in the 3-0 win away against Workington on the 30th of August, 1972. He scored the next four league games. He would go on to score the score of 11 times in his initial 18 league games prior to Herd quit to become manager after the 3-1 loss against Bradford City on 2 December 1972. However, he scored under the new manager Graham Taylor’s first game under his charge, a draw 2-2 against Newport County on 16 December 1972, which would turn out to be his last goals for the Imps because he failed scoring in the 12 final games of the season.
In 2019, Bradley was honoured with a Special Merit Award, at the 2019 FAI International Awards, for his outstanding contributions to domestic club football in Ireland.
