Alawwad (Arabic name: wd lwd; born on 11th April, 1972) is a Saudi politician who been minister of Culture and Information of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since April 2017 and was the ambassador to Germany of Saudi Arabia to Germany from October 2015 until April 2017. Alawwad has been appointed the chief of the Human Rights Commission (Saudi Arabia) appointed by royal decree, with the rank of minister on August 19, 2019.

The Dr. Alawwad was appointed on April 22nd 2017, to head his department, the Ministry of Culture and Information. The primary responsibility of the Minister is to revive the media and culture industries at home, to help the government’s communications abroad, and to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s relations with the world. the world.
