Darfur Stoves Project Darfur Stoves Project collaborates with international organizations like Oxfam America and the Sudanese group, Sustainable Action Group (SAG). In the year 2014, the non-profit manufactured and distributed more than 4000 stoves within the post-conflict zone that is Darfur, Sudan.

The Darfur Stoves Project seeks to protect Darfuri women by providing them with specially developed stoves which require less firewood, hence decreasing women’s exposure to violence while collecting firewood and their need to trade food rations for fuel.
