Cajtoft was a rookie in his 2014 campaign as a third-string goalie once more, but the injuries sustained by Niklas Helgesson, and Damir Mehic forced him to be the preferred choice of the manager Jimmy Thelin. Again, he was able to prove himself capable of being a starter and was a part of 27 games between the sticks in that season. In the following season, he along with Mehic were goalkeepers together. Cajtoft played in 19 games and recorded four shutouts. Cajtoft was chosen to be part of the Swedish under-19s in an international friendly against Finland on the 10th of October the 10th of October in Uppsala. They were defeated by 1-0. The next month, on the 14th of November He made his debut with Sweden’s Swedish U21 squad. In the first game against Cyprus the team was had a 1-1 draw, but took the win 5-3 on penalties.
