After graduation in Chennai, he relocating to Chennai where the school continued to teach him under the famous musician Sri. Neyveli A. Santhanagopalan. Anoop Sankar following the requirements for his MCA & M.Tech chose to pursue a career in Music. He married Viji Viswanathan in 2009. Viji is a singer who plays back and song writer .
Anoop began his career as a Tamil playback singing in the Yuvan Shankar Raja’s musical “Agarram” and into Tulu films in the year of 2015 with the hit song “Ora Oppi Bokka” for the film “Dhand” composed by Abhishek SN. Anoop is also the model of the brand Kalyan Sarees and Vishraam Builders and also he appeared in the Malayalam film Vaadhyar.He also is the co-founder and the creative director of AUM – the Academy of Universal Music at Thrissur that was established in the year of 2016.
The year 2003 was the time he began working with the famous musician Gopi Sundar. He worked with him on over 100 advertisements from major brands as a singer as well as a writer. In the following years, he sang for films by National Award winning music directors such as Ouseppachan , Vidyasagar, M. Jayachandran & Biji bal. His biggest hit was”Kurutham Kettavan” Musical song “Kurutham Kettavan” which was composed and written by Hariprasad and was performed by National award-winning actor Suraj Venjaramoodu and Popular VJ Ranjini Haridas. Anoop also received a lot of praise for the challenging track “Chandrachooda” composed by Navneeth Sundar, who was in the film “Karmayogi”.
