Kasyan has been awarded prizes in many international competitions, among them the first Renata Tebaldi International Competition in San Marino (organized by the Renata Tebaldi Foundation in 2005 2nd Prize) A 1st Prize of Singing Musical Autumn Festival, Adams and an 1st Prize in a Singing Competition in Pretoria. Kasyan was awarded the Meyer Foundation award for the period 2004-2005.

In 2007, she performed in Basel, where she performed songs of Schubert and French opera arias. Kasyan began her musical education by taking violin and piano in the Central Music School for gifted children in Tbilisi, Georgia. Since the age of five she took part in numerous shows as soloist. When she was nine Kasyan made her first appearance in an orchestra. The year 1999 was the time Kasyan was accepted into the Tbilisi State Conservatory in the violin class. In the course of her studies, she began to become attracted to singing, and in 2001 she started learning to sing within the Conservatoryby the professor Svetlana Egorova.

After she completed her musical training, Kasyan continued her studies in France. In 2003, she began singing lessons at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and graduated in 2008 with a Diploma of Higher Concertiste, with unanimity acceptance. Parallel in her study, Kasyan also entered “cycle du perfectionnement” (specialization) at the Conservatoire de Paris between 2004-2006. Kasyan took part in master classes with Tom Krause, Raina Kabaivanska, Viorica Cortez, Janine Reiss, and baroque music classes along with Nicolau de Figueiredo as well as Jory Vinikour.

In 2006, she sang Rachmaninoff-Scarlatti-Haendel in Paris. She also performed works of Armenian composer Garbis Aprikian before her Mozart concert in Toulouse. Her talent was rewarded again in the same year 2006, when she received: the 3rd Prize in Opera category, Mozart Prize and the Best Opera Singer Prize at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich, and 1 Song Award at the International Pamplona.
