Amina Bouayach is one of the most popular and richest Activist who was born on December 10, 1957 in Tétouan, Morocco. Bouayach was born in Tetouan on the 10th December of 1957 to a famous Riffian family that was driven from the Rif due to the war. His father Hammadi Bouayach, was a lawyer, an political activist as well as a thinker. He was also a professor of law of Rabat’s University of Rabat, of which he became the dean. He was among the select few to take part in the mission to study abroad at Cairo as well as Paris through Mekki Nassiri. Her father was thought to be Abdelkrim’s right hand and the most reliable general throughout the Rif War.
She was elected vice-president and secretary general for the International Federation for Human Rights in 2013 and 2010 respectively. In 2016 Bouayach was appointed ambassador to the country of Morocco. Moroccan Embassy for Sweden as well as Latvia.
Her first public recognition came when, in the year 2006, she was first female elected president of an important NGO in Morocco.

Amina Bouayach (born 10 December 1957) is a Moroccan human rights activist. Since December of 2018, Bouayach has served as the president of the Moroccan National Human Rights Council.
Professionally, she’s been in a variety of political positions and was an official in the cabinet of former Prime Minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi from 1998 to 2002, as well as as an official part of the Consultative Commission on Constitutional Reform appointed by King Mohammed VI, in the middle of the Arab Spring. In recognition of her significant contributions towards the Moroccan Constitution She was conferred an honorary Order of the Throne by King Mohammed VI.
In 2015, she was awarded the French Legion of Honour in Rabat for her integrity and constant involvement for Human Rights.
