Alison Littell McHose is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on May 24, 1965 in Newton, New Jersey, United States. McHose was the daughter of Robert Littell (January 9, 1936-November 14, 2014) and Virginia Littell, who were both born December 8, 1943. Her father was a Franklin Borough Councilman. He later became an Assemblyman, State Senator and a State Representative. While her mother was a business consultant who was later to become the chair of the New Jersey Republican State Committee, McHose was born in 1965. Her grandfather, Alfred B. Littell, represented Sussex County in both the Legislature and was Senate President in 1951.

McHose was chosen by Republican county committee members of Hunterdon, Morris, and Sussex Counties on January 25, 2003 to replace Scott Garrett. He was sworn in to office on February 4, 2003. McHose was the first woman to represent the 24th District. She also became the first sitting legislator who gave birth while she was in office. McHose is also part the first father-daughter tandem to simultaneously serve in the New Jersey Legislature. Her father was serving from the 24th District at the time. McHose is a member of the Assembly Appropriations Committee and the Consumer Affairs Committee. She also serves on the Legislative Services Commission. McHose was the Deputy Republican Whip between 2012 and 2013, Republican Deputy Conference Lead of the Assembly in 2008 to 2009, Assistant Majority Leader from 2006 to 2008, and Assistant Republican Whip in 2004 to 2006. McHose accepted a position as Franklin Borough’s Business Administrator in January 2015. She announced her intention to resign from the Assembly seat, but no date was given. McHose decided not to run in the 2015 re-election election and resigned on October 17.

McHose is married to Morgan Arthur McHose, since July 1993. With their three children, they reside in Franklin Borough.

Alison Elizabeth Littell McHose, born May 24, 1965, is an American Republican Party politician. She served as the 24th Legislative District representative in the New Jersey General Assembly between 2003 and 2015.

McHose worked as a legislative assistant in her father’s district office after she graduated. She specialized in budget issues. McHose was employed by the National Endowment for the Humanities, under Chairwoman Lynne Cheney, and the Department of the Treasury, under Nicholas F. Brady, during the George H. W. Bush presidency. McHose was a national delegate representing New Jersey at the Republican National Convention 2008.

McHose gained notoriety after office when her harassment of a breastfeeding mother on a public beach resulted in a lawsuit for $1,000,000 in damages against the borough. She is still currently serving as Franklin Borough, New Jersey Administrator. She again started another controversy for Franklin Borough when she posted on her personal Facebook account a picture of the volunteer Franklin Fire Department marching in the 99th Annual Sussex County Fireman’s Association Inspection Day and Parade in Franklin with a “Trump 2020 Keep America Great” flag with the caption “Proud of my hometown volunteer fire department for flying a Trump 2020 flag in the 99th Sussex County (NJ!) Firemen’s Inspection Parade today!!” This display of political support by the Franklin Fire Department resulted in a complaint to the Internal Revenue Service for a potential violation of the department’s status as a tax-exempt, section 501(c)(3) organization, under which they are not permitted to support or oppose candidates for elective public office.
