After spending two seasons in Europe Hamilton started his NBA career with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2000-01. Although he had played in the NBA preseason 1999 with the Dallas Mavericks, he didn’t play in any NBA games. He has also been a player for the Denver Nuggets and the Toronto Raptors. The Portland Trail Blazers signed him on October 1, 2006. However, after the preseason, he was released on October 25, 2006. He did not play any regular season games for the club.
He joined Slask Wroclaw in February 2007. He moved to Russia in the summer 2007 and signed with Enisey Krasnoyarsk. He joined Spartak Primorje in 2008. In 2010, he joined Polytekhnika-Halychyna Lviv. He joined Larre Borges, Uruguay in 2012.
