Zaruhi Postanjyan, Armenian Member of Parliament (Armenian: Zarowhi Postanjyan – born January 16, 1972 in Yerevan), is a public activist and member of Heritage board. She was the head of the “Heritage” faction of Armenia’s National Assembly.
In 1998-1998, Postanjyan was a lawyer at Helsinki Association NGO Armenia. In 1999, she was granted a patent for advocacy. In 1999-2000, she was a lawyer at Women’s Rights Center NGO. She was also the Wrestling Olympic Youth Sport School of Armenia’s lawyer. She was Chairperson of Advocates for Human Rights NGO from 2000 to 2007. She has been a member since 1999 of the Advocates’ Chamber in Armenia. She was elected to the National Assembly of Armenia on May 12, 2007. She was reelected to the Armenian Parliament in 2012.
