Abdul Hady is an academic rank of Professor and was the Head of the Department of Libraries and Information Science at Helwan University in Cairo. From 2005 to October 2008, he was the Information and System Development consultant at the Arab Administrative Development Organization. He also served as the Chairman of the public authority of Egypt’s National Library and Archives between May 2011 and Mai 2012.

From 1986 to the present, Dr. Abdul Hady published approximately 35 stories in Egyptian literary magazines as well as Arabic newspapers.
