Zahra Dowlatabadi is one of the most popular and richest Animator who was born on September 14, 1962 in Tehran, Tehran Province, Iran. In 1986, she received her master’s degree in film studies at USC. Dowlatabadi produced two DTVs: The Jetsons, Robo-Wrestlemania, and Scooby-Doo. Shaggy’s Showdown was released in 2017. Before joining WB, she was a producer for seasons 2 and 3. ASIFA Hollywood selected her to produce the 39th Annie Awards, which were held at UCLA’s Royce Hall in February 2012.

Dowlatabadi was first employed as a production manager in 1996. He was then promoted to associate producer at Warner Bros. Feature Animation Studio’s Quest for Camelot. Space Jam’s production goals were also met by her small team. She also produced a PSA on Children’s Rights for Unicef.

Dowlatabadi entered the animation world when she joined the world-famous Japanese animation studio Tokyo Movie Shinsha, serving as an art coordinator for 65 episodes of Bionic Six and then as the post-production coordinator for Visionaries. She was the production manager on the feature adaptation of Winsor McCay’s Little Nemo working with Brian Froud, Corny Cole, Ken Anderson and Ken Mundie.

Dowlatabadi’s most recent live action credit is as writer & director on a documentary short called Parthian (2016) and prior to that she was executive producer on the documentary entitled Lady of Roses (2008) written, produced and directed by Mojtaba Mirtahmasb.

Before joining Warner Bros., Dowlatabadi was a producer and co-producer. Dowlatabadi is now a producer and co-producer for Feature Animation. She was the first to produce the Land Before Time sequels at Universal Cartoon Studios. For which she received an Annie Award in 1996. She was also a producer on The Pagemaster, as well as assisting Joe Johnston.
