He was released by the Raiders on September 1, 2007. He signed on October 10, 2007, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and was released that day. He was signed again on December 12, and released on December 19. The Dallas Cowboys claimed him off waivers the same day. He was inactive for the Cowboys’ first game and had practiced some with them. On December 24, 2007, he was cut.
Crockett was released by the Colts and played in 12 games for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1998, starting two. He was released by the Colts in 1998 and became a free agent. The Oakland Raiders were his home. He was the Oakland’s leader in rushing touchdowns two times. He made seven fullback starts in 2003. He led the Raiders in touchdowns that year with eight. He also led the Raiders with six rushing touchdowns in 2001. However, he had to wait for Jon Ritchie to become the Raiders’ main man until 2002.
