Yordi spent six months in England with Blackburn Rovers in 2002.

On 19 July 2008, Yordi left Xerez and signed for another side in the region, Córdoba CF (also in the second tier), retiring at the end of the campaign at the age of 34.

In February 2002 Zaragoza loaned Yordi from Blackburn Rovers. He was a substitute for his team in 2002 Football League Cup. They also won the Premier League twice against Southampton and Middlesbrough. He returned to his homeland and played sparingly for RCD Mallorca and Getafe CF, both at the top level.
