Yin Tiesheng is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on August 16, 1956 in Jinan, China. Yin Tiesheng is a Chinese football coach who was a former player.

Yin coached the China national under-20 football team from 2004 to 2005. They were runner-up at the AFC U-19 Championship tournament against Korea Republic. Yin was praised for his shrewd tactics and encouragement to many of the team’s members to eventually graduate to the national team.

On 9 December 2008 he was called as Interimscoach for China after Vladimir Petrovic stepped down in the wake of China’s exit from the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification in the Asian Zone. Yin was assigned to coach the two imminent 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualification matches to be held in the 14th and 21 January 2009 as well as the immediate friendlies leading up to the qualifiers where his reign as coach was mixed with a loss against Syria and a win against Vietnam.

Yin became the last minute care-taker coach for the Chinese U-23 team, which had already qualified for the Football at the 2008 Summer Olympics as hosts. During his short time as coach for the China U-23 team he was assigned with the task of coaching the team to a minimum of three competitive games against New Zealand, Belgium and Brazil. However, due to his short time, he couldn’t implement his ideas in the team, and China were eliminated within the group stages.

Yin was appointed manager of Changchun Yatai’s lower league club in 1999. During his tenure, the club reached a second-tier position at the end 2001 Chinese league season. However, it was denied promotion due to the discovery that certain coaches and players had fixed matches. Yin remained the coach and won the division championship at the conclusion of the 2003 league season.

Yin Tiesheng began his playing career with the Shandong youth football team. He was called up to the Chinese under-20 football team in 1974. He was also able to play in the top tier Chinese football and graduated to the Shandong senior team. 1979 Shandong was allowed to compete in the Chinese National Games. They won. However, despite his loyalty to the club and seeing them as title contenders throughout his career, this was the only medal he won before his 1988 retirement due to hepatitis.

He remained with Shandong after Yin’s retirement and was appointed their youth team manager in 1991. After a short stint, he was attracted to the Chinese Football Association’s interest and joined the Chinese U-17 team for 1991. He returned to Shandong Youth League in 1991 and won the title of National Youth League champion. He was then promoted to the role of senior manager at Shandong Taishan, where he won 1995’s Chinese FA Cup. After he failed to improve the club’s league results in 1997, his time at the club came to an end. However, he continued to be loyal to the team and returned to the club at the close of 1998 to help them win their relegation battle. Although he was not retained as manager, he was the team’s administrative manager until 1999 when they won the national title.
