Lee Ye-ji, born August 26, 1994, is a South Korean singer and rapper. In 2012, she was a member the South Korean girl band Fiestar. Yezi was semi-finalist in Unpretty Rapstar 2 2015, during the course of which she released several singles. Foresight dream, her debut solo maxi single was released January 28, 2016.

Yezi was announced as part of Mnet’s Unpretty Rapstar 2 lineup in September 2015. It is the second season on Mnet’s television series Unpretty Rapstar. This competition features female rappers. She was initially criticized by viewers for asking other people to repeat themselves. It was later revealed that she had told Mnet staff that her hearing was “not that great”. In her freestyle rap she then criticised the producers of the show. It was not broadcast. After her performance of “Crazy Dog”, in episode three, Yezi gained popularity with viewers. After winning the revival round, she was eliminated in episode 8. However, she returned to the semi-final.

On 24 May 2017, Yezi released her third single Anck Su Namum. This album marked her first producer credit since debut for an album of her own, accompanied by her usual composition and writing credit. Shinsadong Tiger is the co-producer of this album.

Yezi released a new version “Crazy Dog” in pre-release on December 11, 2015. It was produced and featured San E, one the judges on Unpretty Rapstar. Foresight dream, her debut maxi single was released January 28, 2016. It was produced and released by Rhymer. The song “Sse Sse Sse” features Gilme, KittiB, and Ahn Soomin, who are also contestants.
