Georgiy (Yegor), Ilyich Altman (Russian name Georgii Il’ich Al’tman) was born in Moscow on April 22, 1975. A well-known Russian and Israeli politician, media manager and art dealer. He is an Israeli citizen. He has been awarded the Media Manager of Russia three times, is an ex-adviser and former Deputy Director General at the management company United Media (radio station Business FM), and is the founder and current President of AltCommunication Group (PR agency AltComGroup) and the international modern art gallery Altmans Gallery. He is the Head of the Russian Jewish Congress’s Public Council (RJC), the Vice President of the Russian Association of Communication Agencies, and a member of the Academic Council of the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center. Altman is the President and founder of Igor Vulokh’s Creative Legacy Foundation. Altman is also a producer, collector, author, and organizer of art projects within the field of contemporary arts.
