In 1997, graduated from Ternopil State Pedagogical Institute. From 2000 to 2004, he took postgraduate courses at Lviv Polytechnic.Ya. Turchyn is a student at Lviv Polytechnic National University. In 2007-2014, she was the Head of the Department of Political Science. She is now the Director of the Institute of Humanities and Social Studies, effective December 2014.
In 2012 she won the competition among the authors of monographs, textbooks and manuals in the category “The Best Monograph” and was awarded with the First Degree Diploma of Lviv Polytechnic National University.
