Yaroslav Moskalenko, born 28 April 1975 in Lyutizh, in the Vyshhorod Raion, Kiev Oblast, is an activist and philanthropist. He is also a member of Verkhovna Rada. He is the honorary president of the Vyshhorodraion Sports Society FC “Dinaz”, and the charity fund “Source of Hope”. He is also the founder of Campa tennis club. He is also a member of both the Executive Committee of Ukraine’s Football Federation and Vice-president of Ukraine’s Tennis Sport Federation.

He was appointed head of the Vyshgorod Raion Administration in April 2010. He was appointed First Deputy Head of Kiev Oblast Administration in August 2010.

In the parliamentary elections in 2014 was re-elected to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as an independent MP with 26.28% of the vote. However, he was a member of European Sovereign Ukraine, now People’s Will, which is a non-party political group in the Rada.

Moskalenko was again an independent candidate in election district 96 (located in Kiev Oblast) during the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election, but he finished second place with 18,03% of the votes (and thus lost his parliamentary seat) to Olha Vasylevska-Smahlyuk of Servant of the People who gained 41,85% of the votes.

Moskalenko was elected Chairman of Vyshgorod’s raion council in 2006. He was elected to the office of Chairman of the Council in 2007. As Chairman of the Council, Moskalenko supported restoration Kiev-Mezhygirska Holy TransfigurationMonastery Monastery Cossack, or Mezhyhirya. He opposed privatization and advocated for Mezhyhirya to be a cultural and historical reserve. The Council asked President Viktor Yushchenko in 2008 to honor these requests. However, they were not honored.
