Yang Jun is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on June 10, 1981 in Tianjin, China. Yang Jun (Chinese:Yang Jun Pinyin: Yang Jun; born 10 June 1981 in Tianjin) is a Chinese footballer.

Yang was Li Shuai’s understudy in the first half 2011 season. Yang was substituted for Li Shuai by Guangzhou Evergrande’s goalkeeper in the last minutes of the game. He wanted to impress the officials in the penalty shootout. Guangzhou lost to Shaanxirenhe 12-11. Yang made his Super League debut after Li Shuai was injured in the match against Changchun Yatai. Yang performed well in Li Shuai’s absence. When Li returned from injury Yang was able to keep his place for Guangzhou Evergrande. He also helped the club become Super League champions for the first time in 2011. After Marcello Lippi, an Italian manager, took over the club, Li Shuai threatened his position. After Zeng Cheng, a Chinese international, joined the club in September 2012, he was made the second-choice goalkeeper. He was also the third choice in the 2013 season.

Changchun Yatai was willing to let Yang Jun go. He would then transfer to Tianjin Teda, a top-tier side at the start of the 2007 league season. There, he was quickly chosen to be the club’s first choice goalkeeper and became a key member of the team. He would have his best season as a club player in 2008, when he helped the club reach the top four and qualify for the AFC Champions League. Although he did not play in the 2009 AFC Champions League, he did participate in the four first stages of the group stages. However, he was restrained for the second two games because the team couldn’t progress. Yang played in every league match throughout the season and was even able to lead the team in the absence of Wang Xiao. The team finished sixth in the season. Although the club was willing to let Yang go at the end, they couldn’t find a buyer. As with Han Yanming, the club stopped paying Yang’s wages. Yang then went back to Tianjin Locomotive for training. Yang signed later for Guangzhou Evergrande just before the 2011 season.

Yang Jun was a young goalkeeper who was highly skilled and was immediately spotted by the Chinese youth team. Qingdao Yizhong Hainiu, a top-tier Chinese side, took Yang Jun into their team and promoted him to their senior side before the 2001 league season. He would soon become a regular at Qingdao and made 20 league appearances by the end 2002 league season. He was the club’s primary goalkeeper for several seasons until he decided to join Changchun Yatai, a high-flying second-tier club. They were promoted immediately. However, he couldn’t establish himself within the team so he was loaned to Beijing Guoan. His subsequent move was unsuccessful, and he played only four games.

Yang was awarded his first cap for the Chinese national team in an international friendly against Syria on 7/12/2002. Yang was selected to the Chinese national team at the 2007 AFC Asian Cup, where he served as an understudy for Li Leilei. In 2007, he played in the tournament against Uzbekistan, which China lost 3-0. This effectively knocked China out of the tournament.

In February 2014, Yang transferred to China League One side Shenyang Zhongze on a free transfer. In February 2015, Yang moved to another League One club Tianjin Songjiang after Shenyang Zhongze dissolved.
