Nixon (born 17th September 1970) was an American football offensive tackle who is an agent for free. He played for the college team at the University of Florida. Initially, he was projected to be a 3rd round selection, he ended up being released as a non-drafted Free Agent to the Washington Redskins following the NFL Draft. The player also made an NFL debut in the Indianapolis Colts.

In the end, Indianapolis Colts signed him off the Washington Redskins’ practice squad on September 24, 2013. On October 28, 2013, Nixon was waived by the Indianapolis Colts, only to be reinstated to the practice squad the following day. He was reinstated as an active player on the 3rd of December. In Week 14, against Cincinnati Bengals Cincinnati Bengals, Nixon had his NFL debut. After playing in the week 15 game, he earned his debut as a left guard with the Kansas City Chiefs, replacing Hugh Thornton, who was not playing due to a neck injury. Since he missed the flight of the team, Nixon was unable to participate and was declared inactive for 2014. Nixon was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He grew up with an army family in Fayetteville and his father and mother resided at Fort Bragg. He was a student at Jack Britt High School located in Fayetteville and played two linemen on the Jack Britt Buccaneers high school football team. As the team captain, he led Jack Britt to the Class 4-AA state championship, Nixon was named first-team all-state offensive lineman after his senior year. He also recorded 50 tackles playing as a defensive player. Nixon received high school All-American recognition through Parade magazine and USA Today as well as being invited to attend the All-American Bowl in 2009.
