Wout Wijsmans is one of the most popular and richest Volleyball Player who was born on July 17, 1977 in Hasselt, Flemish Region, Belgium. In 2015 He was back at Noliko Maaseik wanting to win the title again. In the middle of the season, he announced his retirement, but his goal had not been attained. However, the following season, he was forced to come back because of injuries sustained by many players. After that season, he retired with just one prize in that of the belgian supercup. He was made technical director for Noliko Maaseik.
He was in 2003 when he relocated into Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo. Wijsmans took home the trophy again in the year 2006. Then, he was named as captain of the team. He left Cuneo in 2013, and relocated into Beijing Volleyball. After leaving Cuneo was the announcement that Wijsmans’ number used by Wijsmans was to be retired by the club.
The year 1999 saw him relocated into Italy where he was a player for Yahoo! Italia Volley Ferrara; in 2001, Wijsmans was recruited at the request of Lube Banca Macerata, where they was awarded the CEV Champions League in 2002 and the national cup in 2003. In 2002, he received the prize for best attacking from Serie A.
