However, Fibak also made it to into the Top 10 in singles. It is believed that he may be among the wealthiest people in Poland.
When he was in 1985, Fibak created in 1985 the Polish Tennis Club (Polish Tennis Association of Southern California) In the late 90s, Fibak was the head of the Polish Tennis Federation and widely recognized for his efforts to popularize tennis in his own country. Following the collapse of communism in the early 90s , his firm Fibak Press acquired the regional newspaper, which was previously the PZPR publication Gazeta Poznanska. It was purchased by the rivals Glos Wielkopolski in 2006. and also published other magazines and newspapers and also contributed to books about tennis.
In 1983, he was exiled from the neighborhood Poznan tennis club and was also facing less involvement in his club. He was also barred from participation in the Polish Tennis Federation and Davis Cup national team because of his opposition to communist PZPR government.
