Winston Parks is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on October 21, 1981 in Limón, Costa Rica. Winston Antonio Parks Tifet (born 12 October 1981) is a Costa Rican former football striker.

Parks got married to Josefina Adriana Rivera in the evening of June 19, 2002.

After spending six years in Europe he decided to moved back to Costa Rica looking for more minutes on the field in other the get in shape and find again his game and ability. He signed with Alajuelense in summer 2007, but he has had a lot of injuries and only scored two goals in the Apertura’s tournament.

He returned to Europa and signed for the Romanian club in summer 2008. Parks made his debut in an away match against FC Argeş where he played just one minute. He scored his first two goals against CS Otopeni in a 2–2 draw. In an away match at Gloria Bistriţa he made his worst match of his career and was criticized by the chairman Marian Iancu and put him on transfer list.

After making his official national team debut in the November 2001 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Jamaica He was then included on the squad to play in 2002’s 2002 World Cup, where there were two games in which he played as an extra. In the match against Turkey He scored an scoring goal that was equal, however he was not able to score on a subsequent chance. Also, he had a superb performance against Brazil. His inability to play and injuries have resulted in Parks not getting much playing time in 2006 World Cup qualifying.

Parks was recognized as a remarkable youth player playing in the FIFA World Youth Championships U-17 1999 in Nigeria and U-20 in 2001, which was held in Argentina and leading Costa Rica during the 2001 U-20 tournament with four goals.
