Wilko Risser is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on August 11, 1982 in Windhoek, Germany. Wilko Rudi Risser (born 11 August 1982 in Windhoek) is a Namibian German footballer who is a player with Chippa United in the South African Premier Soccer League.

On the day he signed for the club the following day, he made his debut on the 14th of February 2012, in the 1-0 victory at home over Hereford United. A week later, on the 18th of Februar 2012 Risser was a key player to Aaron Morris to score a 65th minute goal that was a winner in the match against Macclesfield Town. On March 17, 2012 Risser got his goal of the season for Aldershot that was a win at Bradford City which the match ended at 1-0. The second goal was scored when Risser scored the sole score to Aldershot in a game with League Two struggler Port Vale that saw Aldershot lost by a score of 2-1. The third goal was scored after Risser made it his third goal , and the second one in the match in the match against Burton Albion in a 4-0 victory on the 21st of April, 2012.

Having established a starting berth in Holdsworth side for each of the last four matches – his longest sequence since joining the Shots, Risser is keen to stay at Aldershot at the club – for the next season. Eventually, manager Dean Holdsworth agreed with Risser by offering him a new contract. Despite the ongoing negotiations, Risser left the club.

After a period of time without any club, he signed the middle of December 2011 to sign an agreement with Floriana club in Malta but he left the club following a single appearance in his debut game for Floriana following his appearance as substitute for Ryan Darmanin in a 0-0 draw on December 3rd, 2011.

Wilko Risser started his career at Ramblers Windhoek to kick-start his football career. He played until 2003. The 2003/04 season saw him move to Germany to join SpVgg EGC Wirges. As he struggled at the time, he switched into an alternative German FV Engers during the season 2004/05. After a time, but since the team was not a regular player. He left FV Engers in the year 2006 and transferred into SG Eintracht Lahnstein, where in the 2006/07 campaign, He scored 20 goals prior to changing for FC Schalke 04 II. He left the club in the following season. On the 5th of August 2008, He signed with the Regional Division club SV Eintracht Trier 05 a new contract. In the 2010/11 season, he was granted a contract extension in Trier and then transferred into SV Elversberg 07, when the contract was not renewed.

Risser signed for Aldershot Town on a short-term deal until the end of the season in February 2012 after a following successful trials. Manager Dean Holdsworth believed Risser would give his side great impetus going forward and Holdsworth also spoke of Risser’s experience. “Wilko gives us something different for our strikers to play-off. When I made a phone call to his agent within 20 minutes Wilko was on a plane and made himself available. Currently he is on a short-term contract but he could become a good asset for us. He is well travelled and he wants to prove a few things to people and we can take advantage of that.”
