Gebauer served as the colour commentator for college women’s soccer on Fox Sports Network for five years. For seven years she was the primary analyst on coverage for the U.S. Women’s National Soccer team on ESPN and ESPN2, including the 1999 and Women’s World Cup in 2003. The year 2001 was the first time she served as in the role of an analyst at TNT for their coverage of WUSA matches, the first professional soccer league for women that was played in the United States.
