On July 7, 2015. Wang moved on 7 July 2015 to China League One team Beijing Enterprises.

His contract with Beijing Guoan coming to an end, Wang was transferred to Guoan’s rival side Shanghai Shenhua on 1 January 2013, where he would be able to make his first appearance in the first fixture of the 2013 Chinese Super League season against Tianjin Teda F.C. in a match that ended with a draw. The season continued to progress and Wang quickly became a an able and versatile player who was frequently utilized as a substitute right-back. In the rare occasions that the player was employed in attacking positions, he scored an initial goal in the league on the 22nd of May 2013 in the Chinese FA Cup game against Dali Travel Ruilong that ended with a 3-2 loss.

Wang Changqing originally began his football career while playing with Beijing Hongdeng. Beijing Hongdeng youth team, however , he moved to the top team Shaanxi Guoli in the 2002 season of league play to begin his professional career. While playing in the top of the league, Wang Changqing often found Shaanxi Guoli on the bottom of the league standings and at the end of 2003 the league had them in the bottom of the table at the close of the season. They remained with them through the 2004 season in the league, however , he could not assist them with their quest for promotion, and saw them finish an unsatisfactory 12th place at the conclusion year. The 2005 league season was set to be even more disappointing as Shaanxi Guoli declared bankruptcy and was disbanded in the 2005 league season.
